President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has reported on the results of his trips to Italy, Germany, France and the UK.
In his evening video address, Zelenskyy said he was returning home "with new defence packages".
"More new and powerful weapons for the frontline, more protection for our people, more political support... Our formula for peace was discussed at all the meetings, and now our partners are more willing to follow the Ukrainian formula. There is more support for our accession to the EU, more understanding that Ukraine's accession to NATO is inevitable," he said.
He called the talks with Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni "good" and the meeting with Pope Francis "quite encouraging". "I thank Italy for its help in protecting the lives of our people - from protecting the sky to preparing for the full reconstruction of Ukraine after the hostilities," the President said.
Zelenskyy highlighted the largest defence package from Germany in the amount of EUR 2.7bn, as well as air defence systems, missiles, guns, shells and armoured vehicles.
"In addition, Germany will support our country in the long term - we have EUR 11bn for this purpose, purely for defence. Germany also participates in the European Peace Fund, which strengthens our defence," he added.
According to the president, France will present "new opportunities for our warriors in countering Russian terror, and now is not the time to talk about details".
As for the exercises of the Ukrainian military, the pilots will be trained on modern western aircraft by the UK and Poland. "And I am sure that France and other partners will join in. We continue to work on the coalition of fighter jets, we are moving actively. Of course, I am grateful to the UK for the long-range capabilities for our soldiers, for their long-range capability," Zelenskyy said.
During the foreign visits, the parties discussed preparations for the Group of Seven summit to be held this week in Hiroshima, Japan.
