In the second quarter of 2023, Ukraine's real gross domestic product (GDP) grew by 19.5% compared to the same period last year, reports the State Statistics Service on Facebook.
Compared to the previous quarter, real GDP growth was 0.8% (seasonally adjusted).
Real GDP is a measure of output per capita in dollars of constant purchasing power, which eliminates the impact of inflation.
Ukraine's real GDP grew by 2.4% in the first quarter of 2023 compared to the fourth quarter of 2022. As of the end of the first quarter of 2023, the annualised GDP decline amounted to 10.5%.
