Oleksiy Chernyshov, Chairman of the Board of Naftogaz of Ukraine, said that Naftogaz Group paid more than 61bn hryvnas in taxes for the first eight months of this year:
- 56.8bn hryvnas to the state budget, which is 11.5% of the total business contributions to the state budget
- 4.4bn hryvnas to local budgets
"We are working every day to increase profits to ensure even more payments to the state treasury," said Chernyshov.
The Head of Naftogaz of Ukraine spoke about cooperation with private production companies. Over the past four months, Naftogaz has purchased more than 700mn cu.m. of gas from private producers on the stock exchange.
