Today, on 4 May, the Verkhovna Rada supported customs (draft law 13305) and tax (draft law 13306) benefits for fibre-optic drone manufacturers.

According to MP Yaroslav Zheleznyak, the bills were supported by 302 and 303 MPs.

It should be noted that fibre optics are mostly imported to Ukraine.

The purpose of the laws is to create favourable conditions for the development and production of unmanned systems that use optical cable.

The biggest advantage of fibre-optic drones is that they are controlled via fibre-optic cable rather than radio, making them virtually invulnerable to signal jamming and control interception.
