SBU reports underwater damage to Crimean bridge supports

“SBU carried out a new unique special operation and struck Crimean bridge for third time — this time underwater! Operation lasted several months. SBU agents mined supports of this illegal structure. Today, without any civilian casualties, at 4:44 AM first explosive device was activated!” — SBU statement.

Underwater pillars of supports were severely damaged at seabed level — 1100 kg of TNT equivalent explosives contributed to this. Bridge is effectively in critical condition.

Head of SBU, Lieutenant General Vasyl Malyuk, personally oversaw operation and coordinated planning.

“God loves Trinity, and SBU always completes what it starts and never repeats itself. Previously, we struck Crimean bridge twice in 2022 and 2023. Today, we continued tradition underwater. No illegal objects of Russian Federation have place on territory of our state. Crimean bridge is absolutely legitimate target, especially considering enemy used it as logistics artery to supply their troops. Crimea is Ukraine, and any manifestation of occupation will receive our harsh response,” said Vasyl Malyuk.
