Naftogaz Trading, which is a gas supplier to heat generating companies, has signed gas supply agreements with the majority of the most energy-intensive enterprises, states the company's website.
As of today, 577 heat producers have already applied to Naftogaz to conclude a natural gas supply agreement for the 2023-2024 heating season.
So far, 214 contracts have been processed and concluded out of all received applications: 77 contracts were signed with district heating companies and 137 with condominiums. 65 packages of submitted documents were returned for revision with comments.
The head of the company, Serhiy Belyaev, said that work with other energy-intensive enterprises is underway. In particular, district heating companies were urged to be more active.
PM Denys Shmyhal said that Naftogaz would continue to sell gas to residential heating suppliers at a fixed price of UAH 7.4 per cu.m.
Naftogaz is also working to increase gas production through cooperation with American companies.
