In August 2023, the average daily gas production of JSC Ukrgasvydobuvannya reached the highest level since June 2020, states the Naftogaz Group’s website.
According to the report, this is the volume of commercial gas, i.e. transferred for sale to consumers.
Gas production was increased due to the commissioning of 54 new gas wells since the beginning of the year and an increased number of service operations.
"The achieved increase in the average daily production will enable us to exceed the results of the previous two years by the end of the year," commented Oleh Tolmachev, Acting CEO of JSC Ukrgasvydobuvannya.
In May, Naftogaz launched a new powerful well that allows producing 580,000 cu.m. of gas per day.
In April, Naftogaz reported that over the past month, Ukrgasvydobuvannya launched two wells at one of the largest fields in Ukraine. Together, they added more than 300,000 cu.m. of gas to the company's daily production.
