From 1 July to 28 August, 2023, Ukraine exported 4.157mn tonnes of grains and pulses, stated the website of the Agrarian Policy Ministry.
According to the report, in the 2023/2024 marketing year (from 1 July to 28 August, 2023), Ukraine exported 1.773mn tonnes of wheat; 460,000 tonnes of barley; 600 tonnes of rye and 1.916mn tonnes of corn.
Since the beginning of August this year, Ukraine has exported 1.884mn tonnes of grains and pulses (as of 31 August last year - 2.264mn tonnes). These include:
- 952,000 tonnes of wheat (last year - 763,000 tonnes),
- 165,000 tonnes of barley (last year - 161,000 tonnes)
- 763,000 tonnes of corn (last year: 1.331mn tonnes).
This year, since the beginning of August, rye has not been exported (during the same period last year, 500 tonnes were exported).
Since the beginning of the 2023/2024 marketing year, Ukraine has exported 20,800 tonnes of flour (in 2022/2023 marketing year, the corresponding period was 11,900 tonnes).
In 2022/2023 marketing year, as of 31 August 2022, Ukraine exported 3.964mn tonnes of grains and pulses. Among them - 1.139mn tonnes of wheat, 310,000 tonnes of barley, 500 tonnes of rye and 2.498mn tonnes of corn.
