In the Kherson Region, three explosive ordnance technicians from The HALO Trust organisation were injured by a Russian mine. They were engaged in humanitarian demining in the region.
All three survived, but were injured. The RMA head Oleksandr Prokudin reported this on Telegram.
"A 24-year-old man suffered severe injuries to his head and neck. He is now undergoing surgery. Doctors are doing everything possible to save the his life. Two more men, aged 32 and 31, received shrapnel wounds. They are being provided with medical aid," he wrote.
The HALO Trust is a British-American non-governmental organisation that deals with demining of the territories where the fighting took place. It has been operating for 35 years.
