On Saturday, around 6 a.m., Russian troops hit civilian infrastructure in Kupyansk, Kharkiv Region, with FAB-500 air bombs.
"Tentatively, they hit the civilian infrastructure with FABs-500 with a universal planning and adjustment module. No information about the victims has been received," the head of the Kharkiv regional military administration, Oleh Synyehubov, said on Telegram.
A nine-storey residential building, private houses, power grids and other civilian non-residential infrastructure were damaged.
The damage response is ongoing.
Russian troops are trying to regain control of Kupyansk in Kharkiv Region, an important logistics centre. They are using attack aircraft, bombers, and fire support helicopters in the area. Recently, they have increased shelling of settlements in the Kupyansk area.
