Cyber specialists of the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine are involved in a massive cyberattack on a number of major Internet providers in the temporarily occupied Crimea.
LIGA.net writes with reference to a source in the Security and Defence Forces.
According to the source, the local occupation authorities have warned Crimean residents that Internet access may be disrupted in the near future. A number of large Russian providers operating in the occupied territory were hit.
According to the so-called Deputy Minister of Internal Policy, Information and Communications of the occupation administration, Yuliya Kylyk, "DDos profiles are constantly changing, and providers' specialists are taking measures to counter the attacks".
The source noted that Russian servers and network infrastructure are being targeted systematically.
