The Ministry of Defence of Spain has handed over additional tanks and artillery shells to Ukraine as part of a new military aid package.
This was reported by Militarny with reference to El Mundo.
In particular, the new military aid package includes an additional number of Leopard 2 battle tanks in the A4 version, which have been repaired and modernised. It is known that Spain planned to transfer 20 Leopard 2A4 tanks to Ukraine, but it is not known how many tanks were transferred as part of this military aid package.
Ukraine also received an unknown amount of 155 mm artillery ammunition manufactured by the Spanish company Expal.
Additionally, a drone countermeasure system, optoelectronic surveillance and tracking systems, and modules for remote control of weapons were transferred.
