The documentary Forgive Me, Mom honours the memory of Crimean native, serviceman, former Kremlin political prisoner, and Hero of Ukraine (posthumously) Hennadiy Afanasyev. He was killed in action in Luhansk Region on 18 December, 2022. The film is based on recollections from those close to him, including his mother, Olha Afanasyeva.
