On the night of 24 July, the Russian army attacked Ukraine with five air-launched missiles and 180 drones of various types. Air defences neutralised 164 targets: four missiles and 160 drones. A missile and 14 UAVs hit nine locations, and debris fell at eight other sites.

“On the night of 24 July (from 18:00 on 23 July), the enemy attacked with five Kh-59/69 guided air-launched missiles from airspace over the Black Sea and 180 Shahed-type strike UAVs (including jet-powered ones), as well as Gerbera and Italmas drones and Parodiya decoy drones, launched from the directions of Bryansk, Kursk, Oryol, Primorsko-Akhtarsk — Russia, Donetsk — temporarily occupied territory, Hvardiyske, Chauda — temporarily occupied territory of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea,” they said.

The air attack was repelled by aircraft, anti-aircraft missile forces, electronic warfare and unmanned systems units, and mobile fire groups of Ukraine’s Defence Forces.

According to preliminary data, as of 08:00, air defences shot down and suppressed four Kh-59/69 guided air-launched missiles and 160 Russian UAVs of the Shahed, Gerbera and Italmas types, as well as drones of other types, in the north, south and east of the country.
