Russian forces dropped guided aerial bombs on Izyum in the Kharkiv Region. The State Emergency Service of Ukraine reported on the aftermath of the strike.
After the attack, a cargo terminal of a postal operator caught fire. The blaze covered an area of 700 square metres.
Rescuers managed to extinguish the fire. According to preliminary information, there were no casualties.
Three units of the State Emergency Service and a community rescue officer were involved in putting out the fire.
Yesterday’s shelling in the Kharkiv Region
- Yesterday, nine residents of the Kharkiv Region were injured in Russian strikes, including a teenager. Twenty settlements in the Region came under Russian attack.
- Civilian infrastructure facilities were damaged and destroyed.
- Russians struck the region with guided aerial bombs, Geran drones, Lancet loitering munitions, and Molniya drones. The type of several other UAVs is still being identified.
