The Iranian army said it has halted strikes after U.S. forces carried out no new attacks for two days.

This was reported by The Times of Israel, citing a statement by Iranian military spokesperson Amir Akraminiya.

According to the Iranian army representative, Tehran suspended its retaliatory operations because the U.S. side also temporarily stopped its strikes.

“The Americans have stopped their attacks over the past two nights. Since our strategy was entirely focused on retaliatory action, we have also halted our retaliatory operations,” Amir Akraminiya said.

At the same time, the Iranian military spokesperson criticized Washington’s policy, saying the United States’ strategy is unclear even to America’s own leadership.

“This is evidenced by statements from U.S. officials, including the U.S. president, as well as the actions of U.S. Central Command,” he noted.
