Russian forces shelled Novovorontsovka in Beryslav district, Kherson region. As a result of the attack, a child and a woman who were in the yard were injured.
This was reported by the Kherson Regional Prosecutor’s Office.
According to investigators, the shelling took place on 17 October at around 12:30. As a result of the artillery attack, an eight-year-old girl and a 46-year-old woman were injured. They sustained injuries of varying severity.
The injured are receiving medical assistance.
Under the procedural supervision of the Beryslav District Prosecutor’s Office, a pre-trial investigation has been launched into the commission of a war crime, under Part 1 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
Prosecutors, together with investigators, are carrying out urgent investigative actions and documenting the consequences of the shelling.
