Recruitment platform Lobby X will hold the impact jobs fair ‘Sector of Change’, bringing together employers from the public sector, civil society organisations, independent media and international projects in one place. The company said this in a press release.
At ‘Sector of Change’, more than 50 organisations will present their vacancies, and attendees will be able to meet them directly. Participants will also be able to learn about current openings in communications, analytics, finance, SMM, HR, law, grant management, IT, management and project work. In addition, attendees will be able to take part in a panel discussion with representatives of the change sector, ask organisation representatives questions in person and leave their CV.
The organisers expect more than 1,000 attendees — professionals looking for work; male and female veterans; people planning to change their field; young professionals and students taking their first steps in their careers; and anyone interested in working in the public sector, NGOs, media or international organisations — even if they are not actively looking for a new job at the moment.
To take part, you need to register on the website, make a donation of at least UAH 333 to the Come Back Alive foundation, and pass a security check. The exact address will be shared shortly before the event with registered participants who have passed the security check.
Before the event, the organisers advise reviewing the list of organisations and updating your CV — an electronic version is sufficient; there is no need to print it out.
Programme of the fair:
- 09:01 — registration opens (available throughout the day);
- 09:30 — jobs fair opens;
- 10:00 — employer pitches begin;
- 13:00–14:00 — panel discussion with representatives of the change sector;
- 19:00 — event ends.
The event will be held in a protected venue with an underground shelter, and firefighters and medics will be on duty at the location at all times, alongside a professional security team, Lobby X said.
