On the Huliaipole front, operators of the 433rd Separate Unmanned Systems Regiment struck a Russian Buk-M1 surface-to-air missile system. The system was spotted within the area of responsibility of the 7th Air Assault Forces Corps.
This was reported by the 7th Air Assault Forces Corps.
According to the military, the Russians are moving surface-to-air missile systems to this sector to counter Ukrainian aviation, which is striking enemy rear areas.
The occupiers are trying to conceal air defence assets in forest belts. However, with the onset of autumn the vegetation thins out, making it harder to hide military equipment.
During the next sortie, Ukrainian operators also struck another camouflaged air defence missile system.
The 7th Air Assault Forces Corps noted that well-coordinated cooperation between units and effective intelligence sharing are delivering results.
- On 22 and 23 October, the Defence Forces carried out strikes on an enemy command post, a UAV launch site and the adversary’s warehouses.
