The Center for Counteracting Disinformation announced that WhatsApp might be listened to. The Center says about it in the following message.
"To the attention of all the messenger users! Be prudent and careful while communicating! Yes, The Center has received the information from reliable sources that the messenger WhatsApp is being listened to by the enemy army", - says the message.
Also, the same message warned not to share strategically important information while communicating, especially it concerns moving and positions of Army Forces and military vehicles of Army Forces of Ukraine; not to discuss it with strangers (especially those who have "empty" profiles) and not to reveal personal information.
