In Kyiv, Russian saboteurs may act under the guise of the Ukrainian National police, in their transport that they have captured.
It was reported by the rapid response crew of the National Guard of Ukraine spokesperson, Kharytin Starskyi, on Facebook.
“The latest update: Russian saboteurs are acting in Kyiv. They may use the captured transport, including the National Police cars. Their task is to demoralize people and cause chaos. We have dealt with all that already. These kamikaze saboteurs approach the positions of our soldiers and unexpectedly open up fire on the move. Then, as a rule, they die”, writes Starskyi.
Earlier, the National Guard informed that Russian sabotage and reconnaissance forces are trying to land on the left bank of Kyiv.
Vitalii Klychko, the mayor of Kyiv, said that Kyiv had a tough night, but for now there are no Russian forces in the capital. However, there can be Russian sabotage groups. The enemy is trying to break into the city, in particular, from the side of Hostomel and Zhytomyr.
Kyiv underground stations are now functioning as shelters. There is no underground transportation.
We remind that, as of 26 February, 3.5 thousand Russian soldiers died and almost 200 were captured.
