“Air Alarm” application, which sends critical notifications about the beginning and end of an air alarm in the regions of Ukraine, has been updated.
Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine reported about this.
Version 2.0 innovations:
· all regions of Ukraine have been added,
· selection of individual cities and territorial communities has been added (all 1,470 communities in Ukraine are available),
· checking the air alarm status in the selected area directly in the app has been added,
· alarm duration has been increased to 30 seconds,
· the alarm sound has been changed to a calmer one,
· answers to frequently asked questions (FAQ) have been added,
· fixes to ensure more stable operation of the app have been made,
· the app design has been updated.
Users who have previously installed the app must manually update it to Version 2.0 or install it again. “Be sure to activate auto-updating programs on your smartphone,” the agency advised.
“Starting from today, in addition to iOS and Android, the app is available on Huawei. The download link is also available on the Google Home page in Ukraine, directly under the search box,” the ministry added.
More than 2 m users have already downloaded the app. The second day after the release, the app became the first in the novelty segment of the Ukrainian AppStore. It was released by Ajax Systems with the support of the Ministry of Digital Transformation.
