Energodar bids farewell to defenders of Zaporizhzhia NPP

Eugene Ukolov and Mykhailo Frolikov died heroically in the fight against Russian invaders.

On March 7, the city of Energodar bids farewell to the defenders of the Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant, which was attacked by the Russian occupiers.

Farewell to the fallen heroes Yevhen Ukolov and Mykhailo Frolikov, Energodar mayor Dmytro Orlov informed in his Telegram channel.

On March 3, Russian troops fired on Energodar and ZNPP, which set fire to the nuclear power plant. The station staff was not injured. Three Ukrainian military defenders were killed and two others were wounded.

On March 4, Russian troops re-entered Energodar, a satellite city of the Zaporizhzhia NPP.

On March 5, the Ministry of Internal Affairs announced that the Zaporizhzhia NPP was under Ukrainian control, but Russian troops still controlled the perimeter of the station and were in Energodar.
