The Greek Prime Minister said that his country is ready to take up the task of rebuilding the maternity hospital in Mariupol that was destroyed by the Russian occupiers.

Earlier, on March 9, Russia shelled a maternity hospital and a children's hospital in Mariupol. The next day, Russian Minister of Foreign Affairs Serhii Lavrov confirmed that the bombing was a conscious and deliberate decision by the Russian army.
On March 17, Italian Minister of Culture Dario Francheskini said that the Italian government is ready to rebuild the Drama Theatre in Mariupol which was destroyed by the Russian occupiers.
