Advisor to Ukrainian President's Office: “Majority of the UN Security Council members rejected fakes about "biolaboratories"

The United States and the vast majority of UN Security Council member states have rejected Russia’s fake accusations that the US is funding “military biological activities” in Ukraine.

Mykhailo Podoliak, Advisor to the Head of the President's Office, wrote about this in his Telegram channel.

An urgent meeting of the UN Security Council was held today at the initiative of the Russian Federation "with an extremely cynical and fake agenda" to discuss the military biological activities of the US on the territory of Ukraine.

"Although everyone in the world understands by now that all Russian public statements are nothing but groundless distortions of the truth (despite big budgets spent on lobbying and propaganda), Russia continues to manipulate the facts and present allegedly new data related to military-biological activity of the USA on the territory of Ukraine. Nonsense? Yes. Logic does not seem to be Russia’s strong suit. That said, the United States and the vast majority of UN member states have rejected the fake accusations", - Podoliak said.

Nonetheless, he stressed that even the UN Security Council members fear that the Russian Federation may have started to build a new plot to cover for a potential biological / chemical operation in Ukraine.

Earlier, the Representative of Ukraine in the UN, Sergiy Kyslytsya, also declared that Russia’s fake accusations around production of the chemical and biological weapon in Ukraine may signal that Putin could go further and carry out a chemical attack, potentially under the cover of a “false flag” operation.

Kyslytsya believes that the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe should support the “de-Putinization” of Russia and its gradual return to international law in the post-Putin era.

Russia continues to publish even more fakes on a daily basis about the availability of chemical or biological weapons in Ukraine, including bats infected with COVID-19 virus.
