The Bulgarian Ministry of Foreign Affairs has declared 10 Russian diplomats to be persona non grata.

"Ten diplomats have been declared to be persona non grata, the formulation of the claim is as usual -"due to activities incompatible with diplomatic status. "We perceive this as an extremely unfriendly act and reserve the right to retaliate," said Russian Ambassador to Bulgaria Eleonora Mitrofanova.

The Bulgarian Ministry of Foreign Affairs emphasized that diplomats have 72 hours to leave the country.

"At the suggestion of the competent government, agreed with Prime Minister Kirill Petkov, Bulgaria today declared 10 Russian diplomats to be persona non grata, they were given 72 hours to leave the country," - said in an official statement published on the website of the Foreign Ministry.

The Lithuanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs has declared four employees of the Russian embassy to be persona non grata, Estonia has decided to send three employees of the Russian embassy, TASS reported.
