The russian army continues the offensive operation in the eastern operation zone in order to put the territory of the Donetsk and Luhansk regions under full control and to hold the overland connection with the occupied Crimea, informed the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces (UAF).
“The russian troops are striking with missiles and bombs against the facilities of the military and civilian infrastructure, in particular with involvement of strategical bombers, vessels, and submarines. They are trying to destroy supply lines of the military and technical aid from the partner countries. Moreover, they concentrate their strikes in the direction of railway junctions,” it is said in the statement.
The rival continues to increase the system of long-distance air defense, moving from the territory of the rf additional missile complexes. It is trying to create ammunition stocks, stocks of material and technical means as well as of special engineering equipment.
In the Volyn, Polissia and Siversk directions there have been no significant changes in the situation. There are no signs of forming offensive groups by the enemy here.
In Slobozhanshchyna, there are partial blocking of Kharkiv and destruction of the city infrastructure, aviation and artillery strikes against the positions of Kharkiv defenders.
In the area of Izum town, the enemy tried to improve his tactical location in the direction of Andriivka-Zavody and Dibrovne-Kurulka. The group of occupiers is working on the logistics.
In the Donetsk and Tavriisk directions, after having strengthened the shooting with the available weapons, the enemy made the attempt to get deeper into the territory of Ukraine in the area of such localities as Korovii Yar and Rubizhne, and to develop offense in the direction of Zaporizhzhia. There was no luck, just losses.
In Mariupol the enemy continues to destroy the city, blocking the locals and a part of Ukrainian defenders in the area of the Azovstal Plant.
In the Pivdennyi Buh direction, the enemy is concentrating its main forces, targeting at Kherson-Mykolayiv and Kherson-Kryvyy Rih. It is regrouping the troops, strengthening its positions in the place and groups of tube and rocket-launching artilleries, accumulating weapons and POLs.
In the temporarily occupied territory of the Kherson oblast, in the urban-type settlement of Velyka Oleksandrivka, the occupiers announced to the locals the necessity to leave their homes no later than 28 April 2022. The dwellers who do not execute this order will be forcefully evacuated.
In the temporarily occupied territory of the Zaporizhzhia oblast, in the city of Enerhodar, the employees of the federal security service of the rf continue their “filter” activities.
In the temporarily occupied territories of the Kharkiv and Luhansk regions, the occupiers are looting and robbing the locals. They pay special attention to “withdrawal” of spirits and food.
