Rescuers are fighting the fire that spread from the turbine compartment to the roof.
The Sakhalin Regional Ministry of Emergencies of russia said that 30 employees left the burning building on their own. Currently, the technological process is stopped.
"Sakhalinenergo" reports that the cause of the fire was the shutdown of one of the turbogenerators. However, Sakhalin's energy supply is still ongoing. There are no victims.
