Adviser to the Head of the OPU Mykhailo Podolyak stated that "denazification" of Ukraine, russian language and sanctions against russian federation are not discussed. So russians should better refrain from untrustworthy comments regarding the negotiations.

This was said by Podolyak in his commentary to the journalists.

"It's not for the first time to be said that there is a big gap between facts and fantasies of the russian representatives. Firstly, I haven't seen Mr. Lavrov at the negotiating table at all. Neither in person, nor online. Although I haven't missed a round of negotiations. So, his inclination to comment on something he doesn`t participate in and doesn`t observe from within is somewhat surprising," he said.

The issue of russian language and "denazification" is closed, because, according to Mykhailo Podolyak, "russian army quite specifically "discussed" [it] with the Ukrainians in Bucha, Hostomel, Kharkiv, Volnovakha, and, of course, Mariupol. And all appropriate conclusions are forever inscribed in the history in blood of the innocent Ukrainian citizens".

Head of the OPU's adviser emphasized that "the issue of global international sanctions against the russian federation is not discussed at all within the framework of the negotiations".

"Because still aren`t eliminated the reasons for their implementation by the world community, namely occupation of part of the Ukrainian territory and treacherous violation of our territorial integrity and sovereignty," Podolyak emphasized.

He noted that Ukraine can`t discuss the issue of sanctions without engaging the countries that implemented them.

"… Because the whole civilized world implemented them in response to сompletely barbaric behavior of russia. And it is for all our partners, together with Ukraine, to decide what decisions should be taken on sanctions, and when," he said.

Mykhailo Podolyak said that he is forced to "once again strongly recommend the representatives of the russian federation to refrain from comments that aren`t trustworthy and don`t correspond to the actual course of negotiations even remotely".

Earlier Podolyak had stated that negotiations between russia and Ukraine would happen when russia "would be ready to accept the world as it is".
