Russians are closing down the healthcare facilities in the temporarily occupied territories and forbid the delivery of medication from the Ukrainian-controlled territories, the Main Intelligence Directorate (MID) of the Ministry of Defense reports

"Citizens who remain in the occupied territories are practically cut off from medical services. Institutions are being closed, there is a shortage of doctors, and the delivery of medicines from the territories controlled by Ukraine is prohibited," the statement says.

According to MID, all equipment provided since 2014 under the programs of international donors and the government of Ukraine was taken by the occupiers from the Infection Department in Starobilsk (Luhansk Region). Among the seized equipment are ventilators required for critical cases of COVID-19.

At the Vovchansk Regional tuberculosis hospital in the Kharkiv Region, patients with an open form of tuberculosis were denied medical care and dismissed to the streets. At the same time, the premises used to treat infectious diseases are filled with wounded russians. Occupiers force the medical staff to work for them, and all doctors undergo a polygraph test. Those who did not pass are forcibly sent to the frontlines.

The occupiers set up an ammunition depot in the Pology Central District Hospital (Zaporizhzhia region). Staff is prohibited from providing medical services to the local population.

Oleshky District Hospital and Hola Pristan City Hospital are forced to serve the needs of the russian military. Personnel is prohibited from changing their place of residence by evacuating to Ukrainian-controlled territory.

In addition, all the hospitals in Balaklia (Kharkiv region) are filled with wounded occupiers. Medical staff is forcibly drawn to work, but Ukrainian citizens are left without medical care.

Earlier it was reported that the russian occupiers captured two medical facilities in Berdiansk.

Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion by russia, they shelled every medical facility in the Luhansk region.
