Ambassador of Ukraine to Turkey Vasyl Bodnar stated that Turkey is one of the countries that buy Ukrainian grain stolen by russia.
This was reported by Reuters.
Vasyl Bodnar also said that he had asked the Turkish authorities and Interpol for help in investigating the involvement of grain in transit through Turkish waters.
It will be recalled that russia is blocking Ukrainian ports, which is why it is currently impossible to export 22 million tons of grain. According to President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky, the problem that could provoke a food crisis around the world can be solved by military means, and therefore he called on foreign partners to provide Ukraine with the necessary weapons.
The russians exported almost half a million tons of grain from the occupied Ukrainian territories to russia. It is delivered to russia either from the Kharkiv, Donetsk, Luhansk regions, or through the temporarily occupied Crimea.
The invaders are trying to sell stolen grain to Egypt and Lebanon, but these countries have refused to buy such goods. However, russian ships with Ukrainian grain were recorded in Syria.
