The Zaporizhzhya Nuclear Power Plant is in a critical situation in terms of stablity and safety of plant operation. There are almost no spare parts and supplies.

During the capture of the station, one of the shells fired by the occupiers exploded near one of the power units. As a result, the oil leaked. The damage was repaired, but the staff was forced to fill the circuit with used oil.
Currently, work at the station is carried out on a shift basis. The duration of the watch is one week.
The personnel of the occupying forces involved in the protection of the facility are located mainly in the hotel "Ukraine" and in the premises of the station. The military also occupy the apartments of evacuees. , especially phones ", - it is told in the message.
It is also noted that the occupiers are studying the possibility of connecting the station to the Russian power system. However, due to technical reasons, this is not yet technically possible.
We will remind, yesterday the adviser to the prime minister Yury Boyko declared that Ukraine considers a scenario according to which in case of the slightest threat of loss of control over the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant which was occupied by the Russian military, it will be completely disconnected.
However, Energoatom denied this information and stressed that the shutdown of the Zaporizhzhya NPP is impossible.
