Occupiers to tighten residents' filtration in Mariupol - mayor's aide

In Mariupol, the russian occupiers and local collaborators at a meeting decided on the need to strengthen the filtration regime.

This was announced by the adviser to the mayor of the temporarily occupied city Petro Andryushchenko.

“De facto, it was decided to stop the movement between districts of the city and stop leaving it due to procedural delays. There are two reasons - growing dissatisfaction within the city and uncontrolled leakage of information to Ukraine. Therefore, punitive search units and the process of searching for pro-Ukrainian assets will be strengthened,” Andryushchenko said.

According to him, the occupiers on the sidelines discussed the risk of the spread of cholera and fish plagues in the waters of Azov Sea in Mariupol.

“It has been decided to de facto close the city to quarantine by stopping the exit,” the mayor's adviser added.

Andryushchenko called on Mariupol residents who have left the city not to return here at all. And “who is in the city - run, even through russia to friendly countries. Later it will be more brutal.”

Also, a second filtration prison was discovered in Mariupol on the basis of the former Volnovakha Correctional Colony № 120. Ukrainians are being held here until sentencing or filtration. The invaders also set out to intensify propaganda among the city's residents.
