EU already works on seventh package of anti-russian sanctions - Polish Ministry of Foreign Affairs

The European Union has already begun work on the seventh package of sanctions against the russian federation.

This was stated by the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Poland Pawel Jablonski, informs PAP.

«Sanctions should be even tougher - in the context of the gas russia can still sell, in the context of disconnecting all russian banks from the SWIFT system. I'm talking mainly about “Gazprombank», he said.

According to him, it is also necessary to impose an embargo on technologies that russia can supply and use in its industry. Jablonski stressed the need to confiscate russian assets in Europe, not just freeze them. However, work on this issue is already underway.

Ukraine will work to impose sanctions on russian Patriarch Kirill in the future.

On June 3, the Official Journal of the EU published details of the sixth sanctions package against russia.

The International Working Group on Sanctions against russia (Yermak-McFaul Group) has urged the European Union to impose a full embargo on russian energy imports and increase sanctions on the kremlin.
