An occupier’s aircraft was operating in the Sumy region on the night and morning of June 4, announced on Facebook by the Head of Sumy Regional Military Administration
[RMA] Dmytro Zhyvytsky.
"Sumy region. Details of night explosions. After 4 am, an enemy plane was operating in the Sumy region. Four explosions in the Sumy district," he said.
According to Zhyvytskyi, there are no civilian casualties. Destructions are specified.
Updated: "The Russians fired six air-to-ground missiles at our territory. The enemy aircraft did not cross the state border, was firing from russia. As a result of the explosions, houses in one of the settlements of the Sumy community were damaged. There are no casualties," Zhyvytsky wrote.
Also the Operational Command "North" reported the details of the shelling, which occurred in the afternoon of June 4.
"At around 12:04 pm, the witnesses noted engine noise of a jet that launched about 6 missiles along the state border in Ukraine in the direction of Hudove," the command added.
The border guards did not record a group of russian troops in front of Chernihiv and Sumy regions that could launch a second attack on these regions.
At the same time, daily shellings of the borders of Sumy and Chernihiv regions by russian troops using artillery, aircraft, mortars, and small arms are recorded. This poses a threat not only to the military but also to the civilian population.
Also, the spokesman of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine Oleksandr Motuzyanyk does not rule out intensification of shelling and raids and sabotage operations in the northern direction.
