During the day, pyrotechnic units of the State Emergency Service (SES) found, extracted, and neutralized 993 explosive devices. The press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs reports about this.
Specialists also surveyed 1,100 hectares of Ukrainian territory for dangerous finds.
"Most often, units worked in the following regions: 4,840 cases in the Kharkiv region, 2,755 in the Kyiv region, 1,821 in the Chernihiv region, 1,357 in the Mykolayiv region, 789 in the Cherkasy region, and 610 in the Sumy region," the ministry official said.
According to the SES, since the beginning of the full-scale Russian invasion, 129,417 explosive devices have been neutralized, including 1,983 aviation bombs. Almost 31,000 hectares were surveyed.
The Ministry of Internal Affairs urged Ukrainians to immediately report to 101 or 102 if they find a suspicious object or explosive.
According to the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, more than 30 million hectares of the territory of Ukraine need demining. Every day pyrotechnicians extract 2,000 to 5,000 explosive objects.
