The enemy did not take active action in the Volyn and Polissya directions. The primary efforts of the Belarusian armed forces continue to focus on surveillance and construction on positions.

This is stated by the evening report of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on the 102nd day of the heroic resistance of the Ukrainian nation to the russian military invasion.
In the Siversk direction, the enemy is heavily guarding areas of the Ukrainian-russian border in the Bryansk and Kursk regions. The russians fired mortars at civilian infrastructure near the village Gremyach in the Chernihiv region.
In the Slobozhansky direction, the enemy fires on defenders with barrel artillery, rocket-propelled grenade launchers, mortars and tanks. The russians accelerated the restoration of transport and railway infrastructure in the temporarily occupied territories to support their offensive. They continue to use electronic warfare to prevent the use of Ukrainian drones.
In the Kharkiv direction, the enemy was actively defending itself and focused on maintaining the occupied frontiers and border areas north of the regional center. The russians are reinforcing defense by fortifying positions and mining the paths that lead to them. They are conducting active artillery and mortar shelling of defenders. They also fired on civilian infrastructure near Tsyrkuny, Rusky, Cherkasky Tysha, and Staryi Saltov. Missile strikes were launched near the village Korotytch.
"In the Sloviansk direction, the enemy's efforts are focused on continuing the offensive in the direction of the town of Sloviansk. The enemy fired on civilian infrastructure in Chepil, Dibrivne, Vernopillya, Dovgenke and Bogorodichne," the General Staff said.
Enemy's offensive on the settlements of Bogorodichne and Dovgenke was unsuccessful.
In the Donetsk direction, the enemy launched air strikes on the civilian infrastructure of Slovyansk and Lysychansk.
In the Lyman direction, with the support of artillery, the enemy resumed the offensive near the village of Svyatogorsk, has significant losses in manpower, weapons and equipment. The enemy conducts assault operations in the direction of the village Stary Caravan. The fighting continues.
In the Severodonetsk direction, the enemy shelled Ukrainian military units and civilian infrastructure near Severodonetsk, Lysychansk, Toshkivka, and Ustynivka from mortars, artillery and multiple rocket launchers.
In the Bakhmut direction, enemy units shelled the settlements of Komyshuvakha, Mykolayivka, Belogorivka, Pokrovske, and Dolomitne. The enemy used assault and army aircraft near Bakhmut and Berestov.
The occupiers also carried out assault operations near Belogorovka and Mykolaivka. The enemy suffered significant losses in manpower and equipment. There is no success; the fighting continues.
The enemy did not conduct active hostilities in the Avdiivsky, Kurakhivsky, Novopavlovsky and Zaporizhzhya directions. They shelled civilian infrastructure in Zaytseve, New York, Toretsk, Krasnohorivka, Marinka, Uspenivka, Orikhiv and Kamyanske. They used tactical and army aircraft near Novoselivka, New York, Marinka and Kamyanske.
In the South Bug direction, the occupiers fired on the positions of our troops, trying to fight the counter-battery. They conducted air surveillance using UAVs to clarify the position of our units and correct the fire. The enemy used artillery near Mykolayiv, Prybuzke, Luch, Blagodatne, Shiroke and Tokareve.
The russian occupiers conducted an offensive near the settlement of Bila Krynytsia to restore the previously lost position. They were met with the fire of the defense forces of Ukraine and had to retreat to their previous positions.
"The enemy continues to suffer significant losses during hostilities in Ukraine. To replenish units, tussian invaders continue forced mobilization in the temporarily occupied territories of Donetsk and Luhansk regions," the General Staff added.
On June 5, russian missile strikes hit two neighbourhoods of Kyiv. Enemy missiles were shot down in Mykolayiv region, Obukhiv and Brovary districts of Kyiv region.
