Adviser to the Head of the President's Office, member of the peace talks delegation Mykhailo Podolyak commented on the statement of the Speaker of the Hungarian Parliament Laszlo Kever about the "mental problem" of the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
In a post on Twitter, Podolyak noted that Hungary is the only "problematic" country in the European family because it blocks all reactions to russia's atrocities in Ukraine.
"Official Budapest should stop showing off its cannibalistic position. Such statements will not leave you with the best place in history textbooks," he said.
Podolyak added that time always shows who is who.
"Russian executioners are killing, raping and destroying cities. President Zelensky is fighting for his people. Europe is helping and providing ammunition. Hungary is deliberately exchanging the souls of dead Ukrainian children for oil cookies. Shame," he said.
Hungarian Parliament Speaker Laszlo Kever said that Volodymyr Zelenskyy's decisive rhetoric about Western leaders and assistance to Ukraine was caused by "some mental problem."
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine asks the Speaker of the Hungarian Parliament, Laszlo Kever, to provide information about his mental state. Only after that would it be possible to evaluate his statements regarding President Zelenskyy, says MFA.
