Oleksiy Arestovych wrote on Facebook that he resigned from the post of advisor to the Presidential Office.
"I wrote a letter of resignation," Arestovych wrote.
According to him, he wants to show an example of civilized behaviour: a fundamental mistake, therefore, resignation.
Recently, Arestovych withdrew his apology and deleted the post on social networks where he explained why he mistakenly said that the missile destroyed a house in the city of Dnipro after it was allegedly shot down by Ukrainian air defence.
In the context of the scandalous statement of the adviser to the Presidential Office Oleksiy Arestovych about the fall of a missile allegedly shot down by Ukrainian air defence on a residential building in the city of Dnipro, the Air Force stressed that all commentators should disseminate verified data. The command of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine denies that the Ukrainian military currently has the means capable of shooting down X-22 missiles.
