The occupiers do not let the residents of Enerhodar leave the town. They are using people as human shields, according to the National Resistance Centre.
"The occupiers are keeping Enerhodar residents in the town to use them as human shields. It is impossible to leave, as the Russians do not let anyone out. According to the local authorities, about 10-15 thousand locals out of 53 thousand who lived in the town before the occupation are now blocked in it," the statement reads.
The Russians are placing military equipment among residential buildings and covering themselves with people. They realize that the reduction in civilian population will facilitate the actions of the Ukrainian Armed Forces to de-occupy the town.
