Today, with the assistance of the Ministry of Reintegration and the Office of the Commissioner for Missing Persons, in cooperation with law-enforcement agencies, the bodies of 61 Ukrainian defenders were returned to their families.
The transfer of the bodies took place in accordance with the Geneva Convention and in compliance with international humanitarian law.
In total, since the start of the Office of the Commissioner, the bodies of 888 defenders who gave their lives for the future of Ukraine have been returned to their families.
