Russia has launched missiles from the air. There are Kalibr missile carriers on duty at sea, the Head of the Odesa Regional Military Administration Serhiy Marchenko said on Telegram.
"The enemy has launched missiles! The air raid alert will be long. Please do not ignore the air raid alert and proceed to shelters. We believe in air defence!" he wrote.
Vitaliy Kim, the head of the Mykolayiv Regional Military Administration, wrote that up to 20 missiles are expected.
As of 8:40 a.m., an air alert has been declared throughout Ukraine. In some regions, power supply was cut as a precautionary measure, in particular in Kyiv, Kyiv and Khmelnytskyy regions.
During the night, Russians attacked Ukraine with drones. The Head of the Kyiv City Military Administration Serhiy Popko explained that the attack was aimed, in particular, at detecting air defence. He reported a high threat of missile strikes.
During the night attack, the enemy hit infrastructure facilities in Dnipropetrovsk, Khmelnytskyy, and Kharkiv regions. In Zaporizhzhya, 17 hits were recorded in an hour.
