President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy held a regular meeting of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief's Staff today

"The participants were briefed on the current situation at the front line. Particular attention was paid to the defence of Ukrainian positions in Donetsk Region – near Bakhmut, Vuhledar, as well as near Kreminna in Luhansk Region and in other areas of the frontline where active hostilities are ongoing," the presidential office said.

The intelligence reported to the Staff on Russia's actions and plans for the near future. The Staff also discussed the supply of equipment and ammunition to the defence forces and their distribution among the groups.

In addition, the Staff reviewed the effectiveness of the Ukrainian air defence forces in countering today's massive missile attack by Russia. The necessary instructions were given to eliminate the consequences of missile hits on energy infrastructure.

The participants of the meeting also focused on preparations for the next meeting of the Ukraine Contact Group in the Ramstein format, taking into account the agreements reached by President Volodymyr Zelenskyy during his recent foreign visits.

The meeting was attended by presidential chief of staff Andriy Yermak, Secretary of the National Security and Defence Council Oleksiy Danilov, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valeriy Zaluzhnyy, Main Intelligence Directorate head Kyrylo Budanov, and commanders of the military services and operational areas. The meeting was also attended by members of the government, heads of security and law-enforcement agencies.
