Day 355 of the Russian large-scale invasion has begun. Russia suffers significant losses, especially in manpower. It is focusing its main efforts on conducting offensive operations in the Kupyansk, Lyman, Bakhmut, Avdiyivka and Novopavlivka areas.
Over the past 24 hours, Ukrainian Defense Forces units repelled occupants' attacks near the settlements of Hryanikivka in Kharkiv region, Kreminna and Bilohorivka in Luhansk region, Vyymka, Fedorivka, Vasyukivka, Bakhmut, Ivanivske and Klishchiyivka in Donetsk region and Zaliznychne in Zaporizhzhya region, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine said on Facebook.
At the same time, the enemy launched 4 missile strikes and fired 85 shots from MLRS.
The threat of further Russian air and missile strikes on the entire territory of Ukraine remains high.
Volyn, Polissya, Siversk, and Slobozhansk areas: there were no significant changes, and no signs of the formation of offensive groups were detected. Areas of 18 settlements were hit by enemy shelling. Among them are Tovstodubov, Bachivsk, Basivka and Popivka in Sumy Region and Krasne, Hlyboke, Vovchansk, Fiholivka, Novomlynsk and Dvorichna in Kharkiv Region.
Kupyansk and Lyman areas: the enemy carried out mortar and artillery shelling of 22 districts of populated areas. In particular, these are Kislivka, Kotlyarivka, Pishchane and Berestove in Kharkiv Region and Novoselivske, Makiyivka, Nevske, Dibrova and Bilohorivka in the Luhansk Region.
Bakhmut area: from tanks, mortars, and artillery were shelled, in particular, Spirne, Vasyukivka, Ivano-Daryivka, Paraskoviyivka, Zaliznyanske, Chasiv Yar, Bakhmut, Stupochki, and Klishchiyivka. In total, there are 16 settlements.
Avdiyivka and Novopavlivka areas: 25 settlements, including Tonenky, Avdiyivka, Pervomaysky, Zolota Niva, Nevelsky, Krasnohorivka, Marinka, Prechistivka, and Bohoyavlenka of Donetsk Region, were under tank, mortar, and artillery shelling.
Zaporizhzhya area: Vremivka and Novopil in Donetsk Region were affected by fire; Hulyaypole, Stepove, Olhivske, Novodanilivka, Novoandriyivka, Mala Tokmachka, Stepnohirsk and Charivne in Zaporizhzhya Region and Nikopol in Dnipropetrovsk Region.
Kherson area: Kherson was affected by enemy artillery fire, as well as the districts of 20 settlements, in particular, Mylove, Zmiyivka, Respublikanets, Novokayry, Vesele, Mykilske, Antonivka, and Dniprovske of Kherson Region.
To strengthen counter-subversive measures in the temporarily occupied territories of the Kherson Region, the enemy sent about 200 soldiers of the Russian Guard there. They have been stationed in the Chayka recreation centre in the village of Lazurne, and for the safety of the occupiers, the movement of local residents in the village is restricted.
Due to the low level of winter uniform provision, since January of this year, the number of Russian occupational forces' servicemen with signs of frostbite has increased significantly. Thus, in the medical facilities of Horlivka, Donetsk Region, the number of patients with such a diagnosis is up to 30 per cent of all wounded.
During the past day, the aviation of the Defence Forces of Ukraine made 8 strikes on areas where the occupiers are concentrated, as well as 3 strikes on the positions of anti-aircraft missile systems. Our missile and artillery units hit 10 manpower concentration areas, 1 anti-aircraft defence position and 3 enemy ammunition depots.
