Ukraine's Defence Minister Oleksiy Reznikov, Armed Forces Commander-in-Chief Valeriy Zaluzhnyy and presidential office head Andriy Yermak held an online meeting with US Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Mark Milley and National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan, the press service of the Ukrainian presidential office has said.

"The representatives of Ukraine informed the allies in detail about the current situation at the front, the fighting in the most difficult areas, as well as the urgent needs of the Ukrainian army. The parties discussed the further provision of necessary assistance to our country, including equipment, weapons and ammunition," the statement reads.

The meeting was also attended by First Deputy Defence Minister Oleksandr Pavlyuk, Ground Troops Commander Oleksandr Syrskyi, Commander of the Tavria Operational and Strategic Group Oleksandr Tarnavskyy, Air Force Commander Mykola Oleshchuk and a deputy head of the presidential office, Roman Mashovets. At the end, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy joined the conversation.
