The founder of the Lviv football club "Ruh", a businessman and a philanthropist Hryhoriy Kozlovskyy handed over seven DJI Mavic 3 quadcopters to the soldiers of the 45th Separate Artillery Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
This is reported on the philanthropist’s website.
DJI Mavic 3 is the most demanded drone in the Ukrainian army. They are usually used for surveillance and fire adjustment. The built-in thermal imaging camera allows you to take photos even at night. If necessary, it can be converted into an attack drone.
"This is the best help for artillery units. Mavics do not have along-range and are vulnerable to EWs and anti-drone guns, but when used skillfully, they are a powerful aid in detecting enemies and equipment. It is not surprising that we often receive requests for this type of quadcopters and we try to respond to these requests instantly," - says Hryhoriy Kozlovskyy.
Assistance to the soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukrainehas become more systematic and effective
According to the general director of the FC "Ruh" Ihor Dedyshyn, recently the club's assistance to the Ukrainian army reached a new level and became more systematic and intensive.
"We promptly respond to orders, the number of which is constantly growing. If at first we did not know very well how much and everything is needed and how to deliver it, now we have established effective logistics, which greatly simplified the matter. We can purchase and deliver aid for the soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine constantly, understanding in advance what is needed, where to get it and how to deliver it to the front", - noted the general director of the club.
More drones - more "cotton"
"We are very grateful that "Ruh" and Hryhoriy Kozlovskyyconstantly support our team. Every such "mavic" allows you to achieve even greater success on the battlefield. There is a saying "More drones - more cotton", that is, the more we have such quadcopters, the more successfully we will detect and destroy the enemies", - said the lieutenant colonel of the 45th Separate Artillery Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleg Podlivakhin.
In addition to DJI Mavic 3 copters, the artillerymen received metal detectors, office equipment and stationery from patrons. This is not the first tranche of aid from the "Ruh" football club and Hryhoriy Kozlovskyy for the Ukrainian artillerymen. A few days ago, they handed over "Poseidon" drones to the soldiers of the 45th Separate Artillery Brigade.
