The Russian Federation continues to wage a war of aggression, disregarding its losses. In order to achieve its goals, it continues to use terror tactics, conducts strikes and shells civilian facilities, including residential areas, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine said on the evening of the 467th day of the large-scale Russian invasion.
During the day, the Russians launched 19 missile attacks and 19 air strikes, fired about 30 rocket attacks from multiple launch rocket systems at the positions of Ukrainian troops and settlements.
The likelihood of missile and air strikes across Ukraine remains high.
Russia continues to focus its main efforts on attempts to fully occupy Luhansk and Donetsk regions. There were 25 combat engagements over the last day.
The aviation of the Ukrainan Defence Forces carried out 18 strikes on clusters of Russian personnel and two strikes on anti-aircraft missile systems. Ukrainian defenders destroyed one Russian reconnaissance UAV.
Over the course of the day, missile and artillery units struck two command posts, 10 areas of concentration of manpower, weapons and military equipment, an ammunition depot, an anti-aircraft missile system and three artillery units at firing positions.
