Last night, Russia used Kh-101/Kh-555 air-launched cruise missiles and Iranian Shahed-136/131 strike UAVs to attack Ukraine, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported on the 466th day of Russia's large-scale armed aggression against Ukraine.

According to updated information, the forces and means of the air commands, in cooperation with the air defence of other components of the Ukrainian Defence Forces, destroyed four out of six Kh-101/Kh-555 cruise missiles and six out of eight Shahed-136/131 strike UAVs.

Russia carried out a total of seven missile attacks and 25 air strikes over the last day, firing about 20 times from multiple launch rocket systems at Ukrainian troops' positions and populated areas.

"Unfortunately, there are civilian casualties, private houses, educational institutions, and other civilian and administrative infrastructure were damaged. The likelihood of missile and air strikes throughout Ukraine remains high," the General Staff warned.

Russia continues to focus its main efforts on the full occupation of Luhansk and Donetsk regions. During the day, its troops carried out 23 attacks, but all of them were repelled by the defence forces, including 16 attacks near Maryinka.
