Last night, the Russian army fired six Kalibr cruise missiles and 36 Shahed attack drones at Ukraine. Ukraine's air defence systems shot down all missiles, 31 attack drones and one reconnaissance drone.
The Kalibr missiles were believed to be launched from the Russian frigate Admiral Essen, while the drones were launched from the area of the Chauda training ground (Crimea), Ukraine's Air Force said.
"Kalibr cruise missiles and the vast majority of kamikaze drones were destroyed in the south – in Odesa and Mykolayiv regions, while the remaining attack UAVs were destroyed in Donetsk, Kharkiv and Dnipro regions," the military said.
Over the past 24 hours, air defences also destroyed three Shaheds, one Lancet and nine reconnaissance UAVs.
