Air defence forces destroyed 23 attack drones used by Russians to attack Odesa and Dnipro regions, states the Air Force Command.

Overnight of 4 September, 2023, Russians attacked Ukraine with Shahed-136/131 strike UAVs from the southern and southeastern direction (Cape Chauda, Crimea and Primorsko-Akhtarsk). A total of 32 Shaheds were launched.

"The Air Force in cooperation with the Ukrainian Defence Forces destroyed 23 enemy attack UAVs. Fighter aircraft, anti-aircraft missile troops and units of mobile fire groups of the Ukrainian Defence Forces were used," the statement said.

Today the Russians attacked Odesa Region with "shaheds" for the second night in a row. The strikes were aimed at the civilian infrastructure of the Danube region. The Russians launched attack drones in several waves. 17 drones were shot down by air defence forces. Unfortunately, there were hits.

In Dnipropetrovsk Region the night passed without any attacks. However, the morning began with an enemy attack - six drones in the sky over the region were destroyed by defenders from the eastern military group. However, there was also a hit on an infrastructure facility in Dniprovsky district. A fire broke out there. The consequences are being clarified.
